HERD CARE & MANAGEMENT Important! Please Read This Notice! All information provided on this page is based either on personal experience, or information provided by a vet or other experienced person in the field for safety, accuracy, and effectiveness before passing them on. In all cases, it is your responsibility to obtain veterinary services and advice before using any of the information provided on this page. We are not veterinarians. Neither FreeFall nor any of the contributors to this website will be held responsible for the use of any information contained herein. Does Health & Management We test our show string annually for CAE, and our whole herd biannually starting at 6 months of age. We are a CL and Johne's free herd. Brucellosis and TB are also tested biannually. Due to the fact that we show, we are not a closed herd and do not plan on becoming one. Only goats who are tested negative for CAE, CL and Johne's come onto the property. These are mostly goats who we have bought, who then proceed to quarantine before making contact with our herd. We request any persons visiting our farm wear clothes and shoes that they have not worn around other animals to keep from tracking possible diseases. Our milkers are free fed high quality mixed pasture and locally grown grass hay, in addition to twice a day custom mixed pellet feed on the stand that ensures proper condition is maintained, without throwing them into mineral and supplemental deficiencies. Depending on the season and the groups we're feeding, our mix can include up to 7 different feeds. We also offer loose and block minerals, sodium bicarbonate, protein pails, salt blocks, and fly control blocks. Once weaned, our goats are wormed on an individual basis, vaccinated against clostridium perfringens types C & D, tetanus and Pasteurella for pneumonia, given supplemental copper boluses when needed, and BoSe monthly as a constant source of selenium. All goats get cooper bolus on an individual basis, which happens to be about every 4 months. They also get a shot of Vitamin B monthly to keep them from getting stressed, which greatly reduces chances of polio and reproduction issues. We are not aimed at 'organically raised animals' or withholding proper medication and care. Living in the 21st Century calls for modern and informed medication and husbandry. All goats get their hooves done once a month, though we usually trim individually depending on the goat. By taking proper care of our goats' hooves, we greatly decrease the chance of arthritis, especially in younger stock. All adults are bathed and clipped at least once yearly so that we can take updated pictures for our website. This allows us to make sure they don't have anything lingering under their coat, like lice, ticks, dead skin or debris, and keeps them from getting heat stroke during summer. Kids Feeding & Husbandry Our kids are raised on a strict CAE and disease prevention program. Our kids get heat treated colostrum ASAP after their birth, then get feed fresh goat milk from their dams in a lambar. They are penned separately from the adults (no shared fence line) for their safety. We keep kids inside our barn full time until they are at least couple days old. After that, they are let out into a kid pen to exercise and play during the day, given that it is good weather. We bring them back inside for the nights to make sure none of them get cold, injured, or picked off by a predatory animal. At about 2-3 weeks old, we will start letting kids stay outside full time due to their increasing size and energy levels. This usually goes by age groups (oldest first). As a prevention for coccidiosis, kids are offered medicated grower pellets at a young age. Even though some won't eat it that young, we believe it is important to let them explore it in case it piques their interest. Keeping them from getting stressed and deworming them when needed also decreases the chances. As the kids and their appetite grow, we offer more milk and electrolytes into our free choice milk feeding program. Fresh hay is always available for the growing kids, we allow and encourage them to explore and start eating more calorie rich food as they find fit. Since they don't have dams to teach them how and what to eat, hay usually doesn't become a noticeable part of their diet until 2 weeks of age. At a couple days old we'll incorporate pelleted feed that is formulated for growth and general maintenance. We disbud all of our kids. Kids are disbudded with the Rhinehart Electric Dehorner X30 at 5-10 days old and get a shot of Tetanus Antitoxin immediately afterwards. Their burn wounds are treated with iodine, and they stay inside for the next few days to ensure the wounds stay clean and there are no issues with healing. All kids, bucklings and doelings, stay together until about 2 months of age, where they'll get separated to make sure no one accidently gets bred. Most wethers get sold around 2 months old to be raised for meat, and we retain a couple for our family to raise and butcher. Kids we're selling are the first ones to get weaned at 2 months old. Once they are about 1.5 months old, we slowly decrease the amount of milk kids are getting to encourage them to eat more solid foods. We like to wean our keeper kids around 6 months old. Kids we raised and weaned at an older age, versus the kids we buy weaned (typically 2 months old), grow so much bigger and faster. We offer free choice hay during weaning since kids aren't getting as much milk. Our young stock also have more access to calcium rich feed, like alfalfa pellets, to help their growth and are fed medicated grower feed to lessen the chances of getting Coccidia. We try to avoid Coccidia medications like Corid unless absolutely necessary. Allowing our kids some sort of routine before weaning helps keep their stress levels lower. We don't change the times we refill the lambars, but do change the amount of milk we put in. We don't change their environment either. At this age, kids are kept outside and stay there during weaning. Allowing them the area to run around lets them get their mind off of what stresses them and lets them burn the energy that they might use for voicing their displeasure. Since they're constantly moving, they also burn more calories which will encourage them to eat other things. All kids have their pictures taken before they are sold. This is for our records, so we can look back to see what we liked/disliked about them conformationally, their coloration and what we registered them as, etc. It also allows us to identify them and the pictures put on their personal identification papers, which are given to their buyers, but we keep a copy. We have pictures of all the goats we've ever owned/bred, and we will continue to do so for as long as possible! BREEDING Evaluation & Planning Bloodlines and what we want to see improved can be the point of discussion before a kid is even born, but more commonly starts when a kid is weaned or when we buy it. We're very serious when it comes to researching the lines we consist of. We have pictures of almost every goat and their udder in our lineages, though we only display immediate relatives for the sake of keeping our website uncluttered. Looking through performance records, show results, LA scores, offspring achievements, titles of each goat's ancestors and other relatives, growth rates, and parasite resistance, are very important to us. Once we know what we want to see improved in a line, we look at possible pairings that would complete out visions and can out produce themselves. Once a doeling hits 80lbs we will breed her during the closest breeding season. Some lines might not hit 80lbs until they are 2 years old, while others can reach 80lbs before they turn 6 months. If she is close to 80lbs but not quite there before breeding season, we will hold off on breeding her until the next year. If a doe is in the ideal weight range to get bred, but is narrow or small bodied, we will keep her dry until the next year as she could have trouble kidding. Bucklings heading into their first breeding season might not cover any does. We like to let our bucklings fill out before breeding if we don't have anyone in mind for them to cover, that way they aren't as stressed and can focus on growing while the big bucks take care of things. Due to having lower buck power, any bucklings under 1 year old that we use don't breed many does. Bucks aged 1 year and over usually breed more does due to their higher buck power, but at the end of the day it comes down to who we think will pair good. Around late September and October, we start feeding more caloric pellets to our bucks (goat weight builder and senior horse feed) to make sure they bulk up before going into rut. Rut is a very stressful time for a buck so everything possible needs to be done to make sure they don't get drained or die. Does will have their feed increased or decreased if needed so that they're at an ideal weight to get covered and settle. Before breeding, we will trim hooves, give Selenium, Copper, & Vit. B. Because we have Nubians, we test GS6 levels before breeding. We aim to breed in November for April kids (gestation is 5 months), since we are in Wisconsin, we don't want kids too early in the year as the cold and bad weather could be hard on them. Does in our herd tend to sync up their heats, though we do watch them throughout the year and mark down when they go into estrus, and more importantly when they start their standing heat. We hand breed our Nubians to get a more exact idea on when they will kid, and also to keep the bucks from getting too stressed from being in with does 24/7. If multiple does meant for one buck come into heat at the same time, we use the pen breeding method for a day. They'll get inspected to check if there are signs of being covered and will be removed once concrete signs are found. We wait a month to see if the doe will enter heat again, if this is the case we will repeat until she settles, otherwise she gets to stay with the doe herd throughout her pregnancy. KIDDING Prep & Care About 1 month out from kidding, we will deep clean our doe barn. Just in case a doe gives birth early and we aren't there, this will keep the kid from getting an umbilical infection and lessen the dam's chance of getting mastitis. It also helps keep our ladies comfortable in the final stage of their pregnancy. Once a doe gets close to her due date, we watch to see if she exhibits signs of labor. When she does, we separate her from the herd and into a kidding stall. Once separated, we will check in with her regularly to insure everything is progressing smoothly, or in cases where it's not, be ready to help. Giving her a private stall keeps the stress levels lower for her, keeps her from giving birth in an unsafe place or outside during bad weather, keeps other does from injuring her or her kids during the birthing process, allows us to make sure her kids are healthy, and lets us keep a watchful eye on her to insure her comfort and safety. Our does are pregnant because we decided they should be, so it's only right we are there with them during the most stressful and dangerous part of the process. When they are giving birth, we like to be in with the stall with them to offer support, but we try not to help at all unless they need it. Assuming the birthing process goes smoothly, we only step in to dry off the kid and check its sex, then we dry and move them. We also make sure the placenta is passed and check if she needs anti-biotics due to any vaginal tearing. Umbilical cords are dipped in iodine and clamped ASAP. We hold off on giving Selenium or another type of artificial booster/supplement until the kid is a couple days old. This is because the kid needs time to unfold and should be getting everything, they need to be healthy from their dam's colostrum. All kids look weird after they're born! This is because they were cramped in such a small space for so long and need time to stretch out (hence the term unfold). After the doe gives birth, she is offered warm molasses water to get some energy back. She is also dewormed as kidding is a stressful process and makes her more susceptible to getting a heavy worm load. Does aren't given any time with their kids too, as we remove kids promptly after birth and will train them to a lambar after bottle feeding colostrum. SHOWING Training & Conditioning After we settle on which goats we'll be showing for the year, the next step in conditioning them for the ring. The goal is to bring out the best in each goat by feeding to get a shiny, healthy coat, and reaching the most appealing body condition. We start feeding BOSS 1-2 months before our first show to bring out the natural oils in their hair and skin. Making sure they aren't deficient in copper, selenium or zinc keeps their coats smooth and full. We like our goats to be in the 3-4 range on the body score charts. Some goats look better on the higher end of the scale and vice versa, so it's important to know your lines. While we are feeding to win, we are also training ring manners. Daily handling and patience are the key to consistent good behavior. Teaching a goat to walk nicely with their head up, how to respect personal space and pay attention, how to stand and stay still once set up, and that it's ok to be touched by the judge is important and keeps them from getting stressed in the ring. We found that our goats walk better when we use a lead. We try to keep sessions short and end on a positive note to encourage the goats to like working with us. If we're taking them to a fair and have time, we teach them to accept loud noises and anything else that might scare them during their stay. At least 1 month before the show, we will bathe with color correcting shampoo and clip. We don't usually clip young kids under 2 months old since we found they usually get too stressed and can fall sick. We clip everyone with a 7 blade on the body, lower legs with a 10, and udders are clipped with a 40 before using razors and shaving cream. Ears and cornet bands are also clipped with a 40. After we clip, we rinse them off to remove any loose hairs that will irritate them, and then use conditioner to bring back some shine that was removed earlier during shampooing. This is repeated a week before each show to ensure that there are no lines or guard hairs and that our goats are clean. Before heading into the ring, we also use black or clear hoof oil, wipe baby oil on the eyes, nose and udder, and use a bit of coat shining spray. At shows we come with disinfected clothes and clean goats. We refrain from touching other animals and don't let ours' have direct contact with those from other herds, also making sure to keep enough space between us and other handlers in the ring. We don't usually book stalls, instead keeping all of our stock in our trailer. When we are required to use stalls (overnight shows and fairs), spraying the stalls down before bedding and putting barriers up between stalls greatly decreases the chance of taking something back home with us. After shows, we spray down our equipment and pack up. Once we get back, we bathe our goats and wash our trailer. The goats are then let out with the others, and we make sure to keep an eye on them for a while to make sure they didn't get sick or have any symptoms of common diseases, parasites, etc.

TERMS OF SALE Our Terms Summary Please read the following to ensure you understand and agree to our terms and conditions in full before buying one of our animals. We reserve the right to retain any and all kids born as replacement animals in our herd or withdraw that animal if it does not meet our quality standards, regardless of deposit. Our goal is to sell show quality animals, and if the kid you placed a deposit on, for whatever reason, doesn't meet our standards, we will notify you. We typically keep kids until they reach 2 weeks old, at which time we're able to make a final decision to whether or not a kid will remain in our herd. Kids can get picked up as early as a couple days old, but they will still be on the bottle. We would also like to state that while our kids, and goats in general, may look small in their pictures, they are not stunted and only look short next to us (their owners and handlers) as we are 5' 9" and 6'. Thank you for your understanding and thank you for the faith you put in our genetics! Our Valued Customers: Our customers and the FreeFall animals they purchase are very important to us. All wethers have a base price of $100-150 if they are under the age of 2 months old. After that, they will be priced at $3 per lbs. The kid will be listed as available until it is picked up. We do not hold kids that weren't reserved! We can work with your schedule to pick a time when you can come and pick up your kid. Kids that remain at the farm after the allotted time frame will be relisted for sale and any monies paid will be forfeited. We only accept cash payments for kids that weren't reserved/on a notification list! By buying a FreeFall goat you accept and agree to our Terms of Sale in its entirety. Bringing Home Your FreeFall Kid: The buyer is responsible for any and all pickup costs and prep for ground shipments prior to time of pickup. We do recommend an enclosed bedded carrier for your kid, as they may be too big to be comfortably held inside your vehicle and may make a mess when relieving themselves. It is also dangerous to have an uncrated animal in a moving vehicle as they may distract the driver. Kids should not travel in open truck beds, without coverage and something secure to keep them from jumping out and to keep road debris from hitting them. A trailer is also a great way to transport, especially if you are buying a large number of goats, or older goats. Rabbit cages, open wire dog crates, uncover truck bed, small vehicle trunk, etc., are very unsafe and not recommended. We will not let a goat go if we feel the way of transportation is unsafe! Sale will be put on hold, and you, as the buyer, will have to arrange for a better and safer way to bring the animal home. We will provide the registration certificates and transfers to ADGA members along with your kid(s) and after the final balance has been paid in full. We abide by the ADGA Recommended Trade Practices for Members (section XIX in the ADGA Guidebook). All out of state ground shipments also require a CVI for travel to the destination state, which will be payed in full by the buyer. Due to the uncertain nature of professional or 3rd party ground transport companies, they are accepted on a case-by-case basis only and must be approved by us prior to transport. All costs will be covered by the buyer. We will not be held liable for any health-related issues or death once animals leave our farm. All animals will leave in excellent health! We also cannot guarantee that the animal you bought from us will come to you clean (CAE, CL, Johne's, etc., negative) if you will be using a transporter, due to the possibility of the stock you bought from us coming into contact with a sick and/or diseased animal during transportation. Once you arrive back at your farm, we do recommend quarantining your new FreeFall goat for a minimum of 14 days, if at all possible. While we are a clean herd, it gives you a chance to test our young stock if you have any concerns, before letting them out with your resident goats. Common diseases like viral and bacterial respiratory disease are at the top of the list of diseases that are easily spread by new animals introduced into a herd. A new introduction can also bring intestinal and external parasites to your farm that your goats aren't used to dealing with, due to the difference in farm locations, vegetation, etc. It may also be a good place to bond with the kid and make sure they aren't stressed from travel and get them used to your feed. We reserve the right to refuse service/sales to anyone. Placing our animals into homes where they won't be properly taken care of or could possibly put them in danger is not something we do. Please be honest with your intentions when buying, as we do sell to meat buyers and pet homes if we have animals who would be a good fit. We do not discriminate against a person's sex, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability. For those under the age of 18 , we do require proof of parental/guardian consent to purchase one of our animals. We will not be able to sell to minors who do not have parental/guardian consent. The parent/guardian who consented, must be present during pick up and have official ID. Anyone who purchases an animal from us must provide proof of their identity (ie: driver's license, school identification, birth certificate, etc) during pick up. This helps us make sure each animal is going to their proper person and no theft or mix ups happen. Terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice. We look forward to your purchase!

FreeFall Nubians agrees to only transport healthy kids. FreeFall Nubians agrees to not breed or sell goats with known genetic defects that would be detrimental to the longevity of the animal or it’s offspring. FreeFall Nubians agrees to sell all goats with appropriate and accurate papers/pedigrees, unless otherwise stated in a sale ad or in person. All papers will be mailed to buyers after a complete and successful sale if we do not have hard papers in hand, otherwise they will leave with the buyer and the goat. Should the buyer not desire the collection, FreeFall Nubians retains the right to keep the semen for their own farm use, along with the rights to market the buckling's semen to outside farms. FreeFall Nubians agrees to sell all does as open (not bred) to avoid false representations/forging of papers (ie: wrong herd name/tattoo, incorrect pedigree, etc). FreeFall Nubians agrees not to breed a doe in means of selling her off faster/easier. If a doe is bred/exposed before the decision to sell her was made, FreeFall Nubians agrees to have a completed service memo accompany her, along with any other papers needed, if agreed upon before sale. FreeFall Nubians retains the right to be notified upon birth and have first rights to a kid at no more than the cost of registration. Reserve Your 2023 FreeFall kid Today! Visit our Sales section to learn more about our breeding schedule and due dates, along with everything you need to know about buying a FreeFall Kid Welcome to FreeFall Nubians Breeding Plans Up & Coming Does Thank you for your interest in our herd of dual-registered Purebred Nubian dairy goats! We are a sibling pair that maintain a high quality and productive milking herd on our modest farm in Newton, Wisconsin, 53063. Our farm is surrounded by bountiful crop fields and woodlands, making us lucky enough to be located on a beautiful plot of land with rolling hills, springs, a varied forest, and a winding creek that feeds into Lake Michigan! Our summers are insufferably hot and humid, and our winters are beyond bitter and frigid, but we wouldn't trade it for the world. Our goat journey had a unique start, but it drove us to strive toward where we are today. While our paternal side of the family was involved in 4H, we were brought up in Manitowoc as typical “city kids.” However, that never diminished our love of farm animals. Our interest furthered once we learned more about our grandparent's farm and discovered that our grandfather's brother had owned and operated a successful, large show-herd of sheep. In 2017, our grandmother bought our first goats, a pair of grade Nubians. We were always excited to see the goats when we’d visit but had to navigate the incredibly hoarded, overgrown, rundown property to spend time with them. The start of COVID kicked off our dive into the dairy goat industry, as schools closing left us with more time to further our knowledge about goat management, as we knew nothing about them before. We urgently had to learn how to take care of and manage the growing grade herd, as we found we could not rely on their owner to properly take care of the goats or property, despite her prior experience in the goat world. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, the farm was beginning to look and feel like a real farm again, and the goats' quality of life improved drastically. In the winter of 2020, we rescued Benny, our first purebred Nubian doe, falling in love with her in-your-pocket personality and gentle nature. We later bought more purebreds in 2021 (and had our first homebred Nubian kid born), cementing our love for the breed's gentle and proud dispositions, friendly nature, and of course their floppy ears! We decided to disperse the grade herd in 2021 to let us focus on our beloved Nubians, and we have not looked back since. FreeFall Nubians is still a very young herd but very much a labor of love. Our love for our goats drives our management and breeding program to focus on producing happy and hardy animals that are also: correct, balanced, and productive. In doing so, the goats we produce should be long-lived and have profitable lifespans, staying true to their purpose as dairy animals. We hope to utilize local genetics alongside established genetics from across the country to help prove ourselves and bring a bit of genetic diversity into the show ring. Our first few years have had us producing animals that we are proud to exhibit and offer for sale to our fellow Nubian breeders and goat enthusiasts, and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come! We are eager to update this page as our goat journey continues, and we hope you enjoy watching our herd grow! - Kacey & Elle Braasch, Founders & Owners

Among Vera Wang's many wins, she placed 18th 2 Year Old Nubian Milker in a very competitive class at the 2017 ADGA National Show! While Rueben's granddam, SGCH BLISSBERRY NO DOUBT I'M HOT 5*M, is no longer alive, she was truly a gorgeous animal and rightfully earned her titles and Linear Appraisal scores, and his ELITE grandsire, GCH +*B BLISSBERRY MIC DROP, was also splendid. From placing well in the showrings to producing striking daughters with both captivating udders and long, level lactations, Mic Drop made his mark in all possible areas. Not only did Ruben's paternal aunts, like SG BLISSBERRY HOT & SPICY 6*M, GCH BLISSBERRY MD LOUISIANA 5*M, BLISSBERRY NEW YORK, NEW YORK 6*M and BLISSBERRY MALIBU BLACK SUNSET 7*M, make a name for themselves but so did his paternal sisters. They placed very well at the 2021 Wisconsin State and Central State Fair, placing top 3 in all classes entered, including 2-Year-Old Milker, 2-Year-Old Milker Udder, Exhibitors Herd, Dam and Daughter, Best 3 Does, Junior Milker/Doe, Best Udder in Class, Reserve Champion Senior Doe, Reserve Grand Champion Doe, and Reserve Champion Senior Nubian Doe. More of his close relatives placed very well at the 2022 Northern WI State Fair and WI State Fair as well. Rueben himself exhibits incredible strength of general appearance, upstanding and angular, with great dairy and breed character. His ribs are flat and well-spaced, and he carries a long bone pattern throughout with sharpness in the withers combined with correct pasterns. He has very pliable skin. With great body capacity and barrel, Rueben has a style and strapping elegance to him that is very eye catching, both of which he graciously throws to his kids. Other improvements seen in his offspring include improved flatness of bone, rump angle, length throughout the body, depth, and straightness in the rear legs. He passed on correct front legs and angulated hind ends, as well as short and upright pasterns. His kids showed off powerful, dairy builds, along with prominent chests. His personable temperament is also passed onto his kids. He sired 100% correct offspring, of which 70% were doelings, one being Piglet. CURRENT PROGENY IN THE HERD: - KAU NNR LIGHTNING INA BOTTLE - FREEFALL RUBY WONDERLAND

Arthur is sired by *B WINGWOOD FARM CM THEODORE, an ADGA Young Sire Development Program Buck that is out of the gorgeous and talented WINGWOOD FARM PM TWO STEP 11*M and by the famous SGCH +*B MY-ENCHANTED-ACRES LM CANDYMAN, a 3rd generation ELITE buck considered by many in the industry as today's most influential buck across all dairy breeds. Many of Arthur's paternal sisters earned their dry legs. His dam with both capacity and smooth blending, flaunts an immaculate foreudder. She doesn't lack when it comes to overall conformation either! With the well-known genetics of more competitive herds crossed over with Wisconsin's largest and most well-known show herd, Kuhtz Dream Dairy Goats, this balanced buckling is sure to merge the big named genetics with our herd and allow us to build up a great genetic foundation for our stock. Heavily resembling his paternal side, one of Arthur's strongest attributes is his overwhelming length of body, and levelness throughout his topline at such a young age, earning himself the nickname 'Freight Train'. Wide and uphill, he has a clean, correct front assembly and powerful brisket that blends well into his masculine neck. Being Kacey's graduation gift, we wanted something that was special not only in terms of pedigree, but also conformation and overall potential, and this guy delivers. We totally jumped the gun as we were planning on buying a buckling out of his dam in the future, but when Scott offered him for sale, we just couldn't pass such a great opportunity! Outstanding dairy character grafted onto a level, long, masculine body makes Tripp an appealing junior. He has a very smooth, open and correct gait. We absolutely love Tripp's pedigree, specifically his dam lines and siblings. They have the consist, beautiful udders matched with productive, long, and level lactations with high milk components that we've been wanting to bring in. Tripp's dam, SGCH REDWOOD HILLS ATLAS TOPAZ 9*M, is a doe that caught our attention even before we started down the path of breeding goats, and over the years we are still in love with both her mammary and her general appearance! Topaz's littermate brother, *B REDWOOD HILLS TOP SHELF, as well as her maternal sister, REDWOOD HILLS TRUE TWINKLE 9*M, and paternal sister, SGCH REDWOOD HILLS ATLAS CARNIVAL 5*M, have also proven themselves. While his decked-out pedigree really shows how proven and impressive this buckling's bloodlines are, his relatives can also hold their own with their drop-dead gorgeous appearance. His full sister, GCH REDWOOD HILLS VISION TANZANITE 10*M, linear appraised VG88 VEVE and became an ELITE doe as a first freshener at 1.5 years old and earned her CH/GCH mark in one season as a second freshener! Tanzanite later went on and Linear Appraised EX90 EVEE at 2.5 years old! His sire *B BLISSBERRY AC VISION has sired many talented, beautiful daughters, all of them scoring VG87-88 as first fresheners, while many of them earned their milk stars and even made the ELITE list! Vision himself has both ELITE parents, and many other TOP TEN, ELITE and high appraising relatives who made a mark in the showring. Many well-known performance herds throughout the country have been brought together to produce a well-rounded show prospect and special breeding asset! He'll sire many successful outcrosses during his stay in our herd, diluting the otherwise 'uncommon genetics' to Wisconsin from the larger, more genetic diverse show herds into something that is easier to work with given our current stock, which allows us to expand the gene pool for our animals in the future. We hope to see more of his potential bloom as he ages! LINEAR APPRAISAL HISTORY: - N/A SHOW RECORD: - N/A CURRENT PROGENY IN THE HERD: - N/A SEMEN AVAILABILITY: - Coming soon (DAM: SGCH REDWOOD HILLS ATLAS TOPAZ 9*M) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm (DD: SGCH REDWOOD HILLS MC TALASI 8*M ) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm (DSD: SGCH WINGWOOD FARM TIM'S ALTHEA 2*M ) Picture courtesy of Wingwood Farm (SIRE: *B BLISSBERRY AC VISION ) Picture courtesy of Wingwood Farm (SIRE'S LITTERMATE SISTER: GCH BLISSBERRY HOLY SMOKES 8*M *ELITE*) Picture courtesy of BlissBerry Nubians (SD: SGCH BLISSBERRY RH VALLELUJAH 7*M *ELITE*) Picture courtesy of BlissBerry Nubians (SS: +*B WINGWOOD FARM CM ATTICUS *ELITE* ) Picture courtesy of Wingwood Farm (FULL SISTER: GCH REDWOOD HILLS VISION TANZANITE 10*M *ELITE*) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm (PATERNAL SISTER: REDWOOD HILLS VISION MASQUERADE) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm (PATERNAL SISTER: REDWOOD HILLS VISION MOONLIGHT) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm (PATERNAL SISTER: REDWOOD HILLS VISION SANSKRIT *ELITE*) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm (PATERNAL SISTER: REDWOOD HILLS VISION HIPHOP 2*M ) Picture courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm

Despite his pedigree being relatively quiet, he was nothing to scoff at. Dwarfing other bucks twice his age, Jasper's height was well over a foot over the breed standard at the tender age of 2. Measuring up to a staggering 43" tall at the withers and weighing in at over 200 lbs, his uphill and dairy build left him a force to be reckoned with. Jasper had a long, flat bone pattern that simply accentuated his masculine appearance, along with massive upright shoulders. Despite his imposing appearance, he had an easy-going and affectionate personality. He had great dairy skin and amazing breed character. This buck stood widely on a strong set of legs with short, strong pasterns, adding to his structural soundness. Overall, Jasper was very correct in structure; angular and uphill, with his level topline being the icing on the cake. We adored his perfectly bell-shaped ears; they're definitely what comes to mind when you think of Nubian breed character. Regardless of how much potential he had, we never got to see what he was capable of. Jasper was owned by our family member when we first dipped our toes into the goat world and wasn't properly taken care of. He was purchased for their milking herd when he was less than 5 months old. When we finally had the knowledge to take care of him, despite us not knowing at the time, he was past the point of no return. After getting his body condition back during the summer, he was used heavily during the fall as he was our only buck. Unfortunately, after covering all of the does, what we thought was a difficult rut turned out to be much worse. We ended up with his only setup pictures being while he was underweight and in rut. After intensive care with the help of the vet, Jasper suddenly and rapidly declined, needing to be humanly euthanized. Although we will never have known what Jasper would've looked like in proper condition, we do know that he had drastically improved breed character and overall size within our herd. Seen within our old grade herd and now with his only purebred kid Charlotte, he has improved length throughout the body in his offspring. He passed on correct front legs and angulated hind legs, as well as short and upright pasterns. Jasper and his kids showed lots of power and depth, along with uphill builds and overall dairyness. He improved toplines within the grade herd, as well as passing on snug and higher attached udders. The udders of his daughters milk out beautifully and have great shaped and placed teats. He also improved the volume of both the front and rear udder. His temperament was definitely passed on to all of his kids. During his time in our herd, he sired 23 live bucks and 8 live does, 2 and 1 of which were purebred. Charlotte is his only living purebred kid. Jasper kicked off our journey into purebred Nubians, he and his progeny will always hold a place in our herd. CURRENT PROGENY IN THE HERD: - FREEFALL KJ POCKET ROCKET

Weighing less than 2.7lbs at birth and being born over 2 weeks permature, not only was she was the only doe in her litter, but also the biggest of her littermates! This little miracle is also our only purebred from 2021 and our first ever bottle baby, as well as our first registered homebred. As this tank continues to grow and grow, she's turning out to be everything we hoped for when we first laid eyes on her. This doe is simple and doesn't require any over thinking. Balanced, correct in the skeleton, wide, and great rib, Charlotte shows the best of both her parents. She's also very long bodied, deep, and has a strong, level topline. Her genetics are known for their strength of feet and legs, and sweeping bodies, and she is no exception to that! She is insanely straight from hock to hock and hock to pasterns! We appreciate her strengths in breed character and general appearance, coupled with being very dairy and flat boned.
