Mona is the daughter of our first purebred doe, DANCING WILLOW STELLA. While she is slow to come into herself, she is tall and upstanding, sharp, long and flat-boned, and angular, with very open ribs. Though her dairy strength is one of her strongest traits, Mona also exhibits a correct front-end assembly and a very long and flat rump. She has a huge udder with great attachments, and when paired with her amazing udder texture and ease of milking out, makes for a great milker. She's proving to have a productive career in front of her, producing a gallon a day as a first freshener with a level lactation curve. Her second freshening is proving how strong of a producer she is! A more level rump, stronger back pasterns, and a higher set neck should make Mona a lot more balanced and correct, which is why we plan to breed her to Arthur. Due to her dislike of being set up and excessively handled, she is unable to be shown.
